For those who do not know you, can you quickly introduce yourself?
Yes. Hello My name is Tyshaun Prince and I'm an American professional wrestler. I've been in the business for 9 years
Can you talk about your first steps into this buisness, do you remember your first match?
Actually I do. It was a squash and I was working my trainer and students that I was in the same class with. The story was one of them had just won a free membership to the school for a month for free. I was unhappy about this and kicked them both in the face and my trainer came out to save them that lead into a match with him. Good stuff. So long ago.
How did your parents react to you wanting to become a wrestler? And when did you know you wanted to be a wrestler?
Funny my parents came to my school why in was training and watched me get my butt kicked and loved it. My parents are always with me in just about anything I want to try and or want to do. I have always been a fan of wrestling. Becoming a wrestler my self and has always been a dream but professional football came first. Had I been given the plate form for professional wrestling first then maybe I would have done this first instead of playing football first. Even thought I've enjoyed playing football. The feud between hogon and nickbuckwinckle was my feud of feuds and I would cry to my mom whenever Nick would win. I knew then this was for me.
When you were a child, who was your favorite wrestler? And why? (If you remember why)
Well for me it wasn't just one. I love wrestlers of my era. Vader bam bam bossman road warriors king Kong Bundy typhoon papa shango. Why you ask because I looked like them. I don't have abs and veins running all over my body now. Yes I'm a big guy and built but not super lean. I working with my weight but I'm just like everyone else. Some kid is looking at me right now and say wow I like Tyahaun Prince because my body looks like his and that's ok. No I don't have the body of John cena but who does. I work hard at the gym. I loved those guys because I was entertained. I think sometimes now in wrestling the wrestlers miss the boat on entertaining the crowd. Meaning the art of story telling and less means more and giving the FANS all they got. I love what and I got that from these men.
Who is your dream Partner/Opponent?
Dream partner would be Steve Austin,Opponent Undertaker
Who gave you the most valuble advice? What was this advice?
That's really tough to say because I have had to The privilege to work with some of the best and greatest in the business. Kevin Nash Chris Master Matt Hardy Micheal Modest Jesse Hernandez Sinn Bodi Grappler Matt Striker David Gangral and the list goes on. They all basically told me to be a big man. Make everyone work to me and control the center of the ring.
Wat is easy for you to work with these legends?
Yes all these men are amazing and awesome. I learned so much. I took a little piece of them and have add them to myself in match work calling and physically.
What is your best memory in Wrestling? (as a fan and/or as a wrestler)
Best memory would taker Shawn Michael 1. Most amazing match ever. By far the only Match you can say perfect.. Me as a wrestler would be Tyshaun Prince Vs Alkatrazz in a Steelcage. The night was amazing. Standing room only over 700 people and we both went out there and give them all we had. They knew it to.
2 Great matches?
-Bret Hart vs stone cold Steve Austin when passed out
-Triple h vs taker end of an era wrestlemaina.
Who or what motivate you to become champion?
Everyone who steps foot in this business wants that honor to become a champion because that means all the nights of training and day of sweating your butt off in lifting weights or conditioning has paid off. Being able to carry the company on your shoulders and in trusting you with the future of the their company. We all want that.
How do you see your future in wrestling ? What are your goals for 2015?
I want to leave my mark on the wrestling world before I hang up my boots. I would like to travel overseas to a few other counties to showcase my talents. 2015 I plan on stepping up my in ring abilities by training hard controlling my look and entertaining the masses. Working my butt off for the world to know who Tyshaun Prince is.
What are you thoughts on the Indies?
It's an amazing plate form to hone your skills as a professional wrestler. I would say try to work different place especially out of state or country also work as many times as you can. The more you work in front of crowds the easier it becomes.
Do you think it's better for a wrestler to work in the indies in small campanies where there is a lot of very talented wrestlers or to work in the biggest companies like WWE and TNA where a lot of talented wrestlers are buried?
I say find you a good school and learn your craft. Then got to other schools and seminars and work as many show as you can and get better until you can toss your name in a hat and know you can hang with the big boys.
Who are your favourite wrestlers in the indies?
Brian cage. Willie Mack. Reno scum stoner brothers. Ryan Tylar. Mega King Tommy wilson. Shawn Ricker
What are you though on Wrestlemania 31?
I thought this was a good show. Much better then last year. Hats off to wwe
Wrestlers are very often on the road, so do you have any -story for our readers?
Well for my the road is not to far from home just yet. Still about 7 of us where on the was to AZ and we stopped at subway in a gas station and all these big ol bodies get out the car and walk in. You could hear a mouse piss on cotton. The attendant asked what we did and just to be funny we said we're a national debate team. We normally don't lose. We tend to get our way. She said I could see how you guys win. Funny as hell. We then let her know where wrestlers and she laughed. It was great.
